5 months 4 weeks

Working full time has been a huge adjustment that's taken me some time to get used to. I've fallen behind on nearly everything, from laundry and dishes to KAC and Lupus Foundation tasks. I've finally got it together though, and I should be able to keep up with things now.

Noah and I are home today because after a night of hardly any sleep and a wheezy, coughing baby, I decided to take Noah to the doctor this morning. They diagnosed him with RSV and an ear infection and did 3 breathing treatments at the doctor which helped his breathing a lot. He'll be on antibiotics and having breathing treatments about every six hours.

Noah has been close to crawling for about 2 weeks now and is able to push himself around a room pretty well.

Noah had a big first Easter weekend this weekend and learned to sit and laughed out loud for the very first time. Saturday morning before work, I was talking to my dad on the phone and told him Noah was still trying to crawl but that he wasn't sitting yet. After work, I went over to their house and while I was waiting for them to get home, I decided to play with Noah outside. I put a towel on the ground with some toys and he just sat for about 20 minutes! He's been sitting pretty well all week and I'm just so proud of him!

My dad had Noah on his lap bouncing his knee singing "the horsey song" which goes, "ride a little horsey, ride a little horsey, up and down to town. Watch out Noah and don't fall..down!" and on down, you dip the baby. Noah has always loved doing this with my dad but we noticed this time, that Noah anticipates the dip. After getting pretty excited about horsey, my dad was putting his feet on the floor and letting him jump and Noah was just having so much fun that he just laughed out loud. It was adorable!

The maintenance people are here to try to fix our air conditioning so I'm going to go. Noah is almost 6 months old!
